The Not So Writer

I've been pretty sleepy since yesterday. What makes this experience hard is that fact that I have to write this book with very little time. It can be very exhausting. I do have a 7 year old daughter who loves attention. Not to mention, I live an hour away from work! Geez! I am sooooooo not talking about the shores! Dishes? Blah! Picking up my daughters craft mess.....BLAH! All in all, by the time I get home from work, cook, clean and have a little mommy time with my daughter, I have 1 hour til bed time. I hate to say this but I think I'm going to have to learn to live with just 4 or 5 hours of sleep. Oh No! I think I am coming to the zombie world. Sorry in advance to all the people that will endure my lack of beauty.

I want to show my struggles on here. That way everyone knows what it takes to get it done. If it seems like I'm a complainer, I'm so sorry. This is just real life. I know I can do this. I have to believe that I can.

So the Dream Lives On

I managed to finish my book outline. I've read in various articles that a book outline is a necessity when it comes to writing a book. Without it, you probably wouldn't get past the second chapter.

Well, guess what? I'm on chapter 5....hahahahaha!

Everything just started to flow. I know exactly what to write. Without giving too much details, I'd like to tell you what the book is about (if that's even possible). I'm bring my life into the story. Well, my past that is. I've went through a rough childhood. The main character will have a lot of me. It's going to be a Sci-Fi/ Fantasy SERIES. Yes, I said series. This will be book one.

I guess we'll see what happens.

What the heck! What am I doing? Ok, ok......So I decided to write a book. I have absolutely no writing experience. My Master Degree is in Computer Information Systems and the most writing I ever did was creating technical documentation. Writing has always been a passion of mine that I never pursued. So, here I am. I'm not going to go through the hassle of finding a publisher. Instead, I will be self publishing.

I'm unsure were this is going to take me. I guess we'll see.
